Mumbai and a friend.

I wonder how we choose not to notice a few things around us.

Being a Mumbaikar, to me meant living in Mumbai and knowing the usual spots to roam around.

But, one fine day, when I got up to see the other part of our 7 island city, I realized how some things never change.
One such place in Mumbai is the Walkeshwar area. The down side of the Z-Security area Malabar Hill or maybe the not so rich locality of that place. This place seemed so quiet. For a moment when I wished to see the Banganga, which is a small tank in our own city, it didn't seem that small.

Located right at the end of the Walkeshwar area, you're sure to enter into the old Mumbai. The people here seemed religious, probably because the Kolis of Mumbai often come here to see their deity.

It was a quiet place to sit for a while and see the ducks wade through the water and clean themselves. Then when I entered the temple, I suddenly felt cool and serene. And when we wished that it would rain, the God being kind enough, gave us exactly what we asked for.

After the long excursion from Malabar Hill and Banganga, a nice lunch helped us fill our tummies at Sukh Sagar,Girgaum

Then thinking of dessert, we realized what better than ice cream, what better than K.Rustoms. Then at Flora Fountain also known as the book lovers paradise, we drooled and walked through books for almost around 1 hour. Here we see how zodiac sometimes is so coherent to our usual behavior.

Then as decided we head to CST.

There, as a tradition, just to complete our unfinished talks, we get a couch and sit and talk away all our episodes in a coffee joint, better known as CCD.

The episodes seemed much more important and heartfelt than the coffee and so we left our melancholy to each other and realized, so many things have changed and yet we lead a parallel life.

To that one friend, who'll always be forgiving and always be a parallel sidekick. I am loving this life because friends like you make it worth living.

Take out a day, go for a stroll, talk about your ache and live it off.
